Our farm spans 31 acres of beautiful farm and forest land, featuring a serene pond, a greenhouse, charming chicken coops, and a lush array of trees. There is plenty to explore and enjoy in this natural haven!

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and Ms. Lam students are immerse in the serene beauty of our school farm, Ms. Lam Farm, just 1.5 hours away from NYC. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, our farm offers our Elementary students a safe and welcoming space to learn, explore, and reconnect with nature.

At Ms. Lam Farm, students are invited to roll up their sleeves and dive into experiencing the simple joys of activities such as picking eggs, feeding chickens and harvesting vegetables. From planting seeds to harvesting crops, every experience is a hands-on learning adventure that sparks curiosity and fosters a deep appreciation for the land. Our knowledgeable farm ‘grand-parents,’ Livia and Tom, who live on the farm year round, are there to demonstrate techniques and offer guidance as students engage in the workings of the farm.

Many Ms. Lam families have grown close as our children grow up together in these early formative years. The farm provides an opportunity for our students to grow alongside the land.

We feed our children the food we grow on our farm! Everything harvested on the farm is delivered to our kitchen in Brooklyn and served as lunch to feed our children and teachers. Our commitment to sustainable farming practices ensures that every fruit, vegetable, and herb grown on our farm is not only delicious but also environmentally-friendly. By integrating our own produce into the school's culinary offerings, we're nourishing both bodies and minds with wholesome, farm-fresh goodness!
