If you are an existing student or have attended our program in the past, please sign up in 2-week increments.
If your child is under 5-year-old and new to our program, please sign up for a minimum of 4 weeks. To ensure that your young child has the smoothest transition, there will be a gradual transition schedule for all children under 5-year-old during the first week.
The transition schedule will be 1 hour on the first day, 2 hours on the second day, half-day on the third day and full-day on the fourth day. If your child is only attending our half-day program, then the transition schedule will only last 3 days. This is for NEW students only. We will send you a detailed transition schedule email prior to the start of the summer program.
This summer, we're excited to offer our Mi Casa program to children 18 months and older at both locations, as long as they are enrolled or continuing with us in the upcoming school year. For NEW families not enrolled for Fall, we welcome children 24 months and older to join the Mi Casa program.
*Elementary program will only be offered from July 7-Anugust 1.

Themes
Summer Discovery - A Sensory Journey into Chinese Culture
This summer, children will explore Chinese culture through hands-on, language-rich experiences. Rather than focusing only on Mandarin instruction, our program offers meaningful cultural immersion through food, art, music, movement, and storytelling. Each activity is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for Chinese traditions—while naturally supporting language development.
Morning Highlights
Chinese Culinary Arts:
Children will prepare traditional Chinese dishes like dumplings and noodles. These cooking activities engage all five senses and introduce Mandarin vocabulary in a fun, natural way.Dragon Boat Festival: Culture, Storytelling, and Symbolic Crafts:
Through storytelling, crafts, and making zongzi (sticky rice dumplings), children will explore the history and meaning of this important celebration.Tea-Making and Etiquette:
Children will experience the art of traditional tea-making, learning simple steps and respectful rituals while practicing related language and social skills.Calligraphy, Brush Painting, and Fan Art:
From brush painting to fan-making, children will explore traditional art forms that support focus, fine motor skills, and cultural appreciation.Chinese Folk Songs and Music:
Language comes alive through music and motion. Children will sing folk songs, learn rhythms, and explore the stories behind the melodies.Traditional Chinese Games:
Children will play classic games like shuttlecock kicking, ribbon dancing, and stone toss—building coordination, teamwork, and joy through play.
Afternoon Enrichment (Primary Only – Ages 3–6)
If your child is in Primary and no longer naps, they will participate in our afternoon enrichment program from 1 to 2:30 pm, a core part of the full-day summer schedule and led by trusted outside vendors. These engaging classes support movement, creativity, and joyful exploration.
Activities include:
Soccer
Parkour
Chinese Elemental Movement: Ribbon, Fan & Beyond
STEAM
Visual Art
These enriching experiences give children the opportunity to try new things, build confidence, and express themselves through a variety of age-appropriate activities—all within their regular school day.
Schedule
Our daily schedule begins with a healthy, freshly-prepared breakfast and the etiquette of eating, followed immediately by a Montessori Work Cycle. During this important part of the day, children will be getting lessons in all the areas of the classroom, including Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Culture and Geography and Math. Around mid-morning, we will have a special activity of the day centered around the theme of the week.
A healthy, nutritious, mostly-organic lunch and snack (see our current menu) is followed by outdoor play and an afternoon Work Cycle.
We will not have field trips this summer, but we still plan on the children having a lot of outdoor fun with their friends! We will have weekly water slide day in the backyard and walks to the park.
Our program is 100% Mandarin Immersion. Through art, culture, food, music and outdoor play, we will immerse the children in Chinese culture and language, so they are naturally absorbing the language while having fun.
Maria Montessori says that we must give the young child "the world." Our teachers have carefully prepared a nurturing environment and rich curriculum to make this summer a fun-filled and memorable one - full of exciting new things to learn!
