How To Apply

We are glad you are considering Ms. Lam Montessori for your child.

Our classrooms are intentionally small, and each community is carefully composed by age and readiness. Admissions is designed to help you see whether we are the right fit, and to help us welcome families thoughtfully as places become available.

2026-27 enrollment is open at our Brooklyn campuses. Parents do not need to speak Mandarin.

We invite you to begin with a campus tour, then complete an application when you are ready.

Enrollment in 5 steps

1. Tour a Campus

Tours last about 60 minutes and take place during the morning work period. You will observe children in the classroom, meet a member of our admissions team, and have time for your questions.

2. Complete a New Student Application

After your tour, please submit our online application.

An application expresses your interest and allows us to consider your child for the program and campus you prefer.

3. Application Review & Availability

Our team reviews each application with care, looking at age placement, program fit, and availability at each campus. You are always welcome to email or call if you would like an update.

4. Offer of Admission

When we are able to offer a place, you will receive written notification for the program and campus, along with guidance on forms and next steps.

5. Meet the Guide & Set a Start Date

Before the first day, you and your child are invited to meet the guide and become familiar with the classroom. Together you will confirm the start date and the rhythm of the first week. That is when enrollment is complete.

School Year Timing

2026-27
Applications and tours are welcome now. Because each classroom has a limited number of places, we encourage families to tour when they can, so we may plan thoughtfully together.

2027-28
Families planning ahead may tour and apply early. First-round acceptances for 2027-28 are planned for January 2027.

Mid-year enrollment
When a place opens during the year, we are glad to consider families who are already known to us through a tour and application. If you are hoping for a mid-year start, please write to admissions@mslammontessori.com with your child’s age and preferred neighborhood.
